I’ve lead a varied and very fortunate life and I’ve shared this life with the same man for over 40 years. Amazingly enough we still love and respect each other. I’ve two wonderful adult children who are pursuing their very different dreams. I’m grateful every day for the blessings of my life. I’ve moved around a fair bit and also changed jobs quite a lot too. I started my professional life as a secondary teacher and most of my work has been related to education, even when I worked in a maximum security men’s prision in Queensland for a few years.

Politics and the health of our society is the passion I pursue. It’s great to have more time to be involved now.
